Narrowly focused

Advising clients on secondary loan market transactions is not a sidelight for us, or a means to an end. It is our primary focus and our passion.

It has become commonplace to find “distressed debt trading” and “bankruptcy investing” in law firms’ listings of their areas of practice–especially in the middle of an economic downturn.

By contrast, our firm’s commitment to troubled company and distressed debt investing is for the long-term. It drives our hiring and management practices, our emphasis on new associates understanding the implications of our clients’ investments under the Bankruptcy Code, and our constant reconsideration of how to further improve our methodologies, procedures and approach to benefit our clients.
